Carl Jung spoke of vocation as "an irrational factor that destines a [person] to emancipate [themself] . . . from the herd and from its well-worn paths. . . vocation acts like a law of God from which there is no escape. . . . [They] must obey [their] own law, as if it were a daemon whispering . . . of new and wonderful paths. Anyone with a vocation hears the voice of the inner [voice]: [They are] called."
FYI- in depth and archetypal psychology, a daemon, daimon, or guides are imaginal, divine, or supernatural ways of nature, our inner wisdom, and possibly the calm knowing called intuition. Ancient cultures, indigenous traditions, ancestral ways connect with this field and we trust the path we take through that calling, or vocation.
Driven by this call of vocation, through a belief in the body's wisdom, Danielle expands traditional talk therapy with somatic techniques, Stoicism, communication theory, creativity, ancestral ceremony, and more. As an Embodied Imagination Coach and over 26 years as a pyschotherapist, dreams and the imaginal are part of her daily practice working with the unconscious to change conscious limitations for Self-understanding.

Credentials
Danielle's academic journey, rooted in a lifelong passion for self-understanding, led to a master’s in counseling psychology and a combined MA/PhD in depth psychology and somatics. Engaged in academia for over three decades, including a decade as an adjunct professor, she shares her expertise in communication, dialogic theory, and self-awareness.
Passionate about the right to choose our medicine with safe support grounding risk reduction with psychedelics, Danielle is a certified Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapist, sharing the importance of Integration, Soulful Ethics, and Set and Setting.
She played a crucial role in the Denver decriminalization campaign and continues her work advising and mentoring internationally.

Why Psychedelic Advocacy?
I have followed many unexpected paths to come to this point in my journey. It is not only serendipitous to be here, but I am passionate that psychedelic journeys are held ethically and responsibly for risk and harm reduction.
Living in Colorado afforded me an opportunity to have been in the center of Denver Decriminalization, to witness many people jumping into this field and abusing their power, as well as choosing to move with the field as we create a statewide decriminalization and legalization model. I have seen both harm and healing with psychedelic use and wish to make sure individuals know how to care for themselves in this ever-changing field.
I believe in everyone's right to make educated choices for their medicine and personal autonomy. We get to be a stand for ourselves and make choices grounded in safety and integrity, whether within the safe distribution of pharmaceuticals or psychedelics.
What kind of training did you need?
In addition to my graduate degrees, I am a certified Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapist, certified Embodied Imagination Therapist, have trained in death support, domestic violence, spiritual counseling, and more. I am completing a one year harm reduction course called Vital with Psychedelics Today and also studying with a non-psychedelic Shaman in Scotland.
In addition to continuing my education every month, I support best care practices in psychedelic spaces.I am a co-facilitator for VITAL, I share Soulful Ethics© with multiple organizations, I am on the Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy Foundations training team with PRATI (Psychedelic Research And Training Institute), and recently joined the training team with Queer Psychedelic Facilitator Education Program https://integratetoevolve.com/lgbtqia2spsychedelicfacilitatoeducation
I have always been engaged in learning and will continue to learn and grow for myself, my family, friends, and those who ask me to be a witness on their life journey.
